Since opening in 2006, the Music Academy of Garden City has gained a reputation as the only serious choice for music instruction in our area. The professionalism of our institution is displayed not only by our world-class faculty, all of whom hold music degrees from some of the country’s finest universities, but also by our superior facility, which is fully equipped with the tools students need for a comprehensive music education. In addition to expert private instruction, the Music Academy is home to Long Island's most comprehensive Musical Theatre Program, and offers a variety of programs including Jazz Academy, Student Rock Bands, Mommy and Me Classes, Audition Recording Services, fully staged musicals with live pit band and professional lighting/sound/staging, student recitals, master classes and much more. Their new Creative Space, which is located a few doors up the street from the main campus, is large enough for group classes, band rehearsals, and even concerts. Unlike lessons in your home, the Music Academy of Garden City provides the needed structure and school atmosphere that students need to succeed. In addition, their students become part of a robust and active music community, and have the chance to perform and learn all year long.
